Designed for use in compact ported box, the 12W750A is a great choice for any system where high efficiency and high output is the goal. This low frequency midbass has been painstakingly voiced to create a natural tone with low distortion at high levels.

To get the right sound, a multi-roll surround, large raised spider, and 2.50″ light-weight voice coil with an unique, woven-cloth dustcap was chosen to achieve high sensitivity by reducing moving mass, while cooling the voice coil.

By popular demand we have released a new improved version with higher excursion and higher power handling over PRV’s popular 12W750A, the 12W800A Alto series 12″ professional woofer offers improved output capability and more low frequency impact.

Recommended Amplifier configurations and crossover points:
4 Speakers – 1x QS3000 at 2 Ohm, 4 speakers in parallel
8 Speakers – 1x QS7000 at 1 Ohm, 8 speakers in parallel

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 750 Watts RMS musical power ( without clipping )

• 125 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
• 115 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18

If you have compression drivers on your system the recommended LPF is 2,000 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
